The Sabine Index - September 13, 1973

  Mrs. Callie Shelton

  Mrs. Callie Parker Shelton, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 5.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. in the
Drewett Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. George A. Ritchey
and the Rev. Hall Peyton officiated. Burial was in the Highland
Cemetery.

  Survivors include one son, Ralph Skeeter Shelton of Mansfield;
two daughters, Miss Zula Pendleton of Clovis, N.M. and Mrs. Grace
Shetley of Converse, four grandchildren and tree great
grandchildren; one brother, Albert Parker of Slagle; three
sisters, Miss Jessie Dennett and Miss Mancy Johnson both of
Simpson, and Miss Vic Roquemore of Shreveport.
