The Sabine Index - J. E. Salter

  9 Dec 1938 - J. E. Salter, age 77, died at his home near
Florien Tuesday evening at eight o'clock after a short illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock
at the Antioch church with Rev. W. G. Bailey officiating.

  Mr. Salter is survived by his wife, two sons, Ross and Ponder
Salter of Florien, and a daughter Mrs. James Leach of Florien,
six grandchildren, a brother, Rance Salter of Florien.

  Interment was in the Antioch cemetery under the direction of
the Dennis-Green funeral home.
