The Sabine Index - Thomas C. Salter 
  
  27 Feb 1948 - Thomas C. Salter, age 78, passed away in an 
Alexandria hospital. Funeral services were conducted from Negreet 
Baptist church 2 p.m. Feb. 19 by Rev. W. G. Bailey. Interment was 
under the direction Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Surviving relatives include, sons, Willie Salter, Negreet; 
Waverly Salter, Harrisburg, Warney Salter, Many, Julian Salter, 
Belmont; daughters, Mrs. Lottie Wright, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ola 
Wedgeworth, Amarillo, Texas, Mrs Nannie Jean, Messina, Colorado 
Springs, Colo.; brothers Bob Salter, Zwolle, Ed and Will Salter 
of Many.
