The Sabine Index - Charlie W. Salter

  17 Jan 1974 - Charlie W. Salter, 74, of Florien died on
Saturday Jan. 12 at 11:20 p.m. following an extended illness.

  Salter is survived by his widow, Mrs. LaVerne Salter of
Florien, a son, Grady Salter of Florien, two daughters Mrs.
Sharlee Davis and Mrs. LindRose Snell, both of Florien, a
brother, Hoyt L. Salter of Florien and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Antioch Baptist Church on
Monday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Dunn officiating.
Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
