The Sabine Index - William Amos Salter 
  
  30 Oct 1959 - Final rites for William Amos "Buddy" Salter, age 
52, who died at this home in Many, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m., were 
conducted at Beulah Baptist church at 10:00 a.m. Oct. 29, with 
Rev. Willie Greer and Rev. Versie Miller officiating. Interment 
was in church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral 
home. 
  
  Survivors are two brothers, George Salter of Negreet, Douglas 
Salter of Bossier City; four sisters, Mrs. C. M. Gray of Zwolle, 
Mrs. A. K. Palmer of Shreveport, Mrs. C. G. Miller of Nederland, 
Tex., Mrs. H. C. Stroud Sr. of Negreet.
