The Sabine Index - Mrs. Claiborne Salter

  21 Apr 1964 - Mrs. Claiborne Salter, 77, of Florien passed
away at 2:15 a.m. April 21 following a long illness.

  Services under the direction of Warren Funeral Home, will be
conducted by the Rev. Frank Chance and Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald at
2:00 p.m. April 22 at the Antioch Baptist Church with interment
in the Antioch Cemetery.

  Mrs. Salter is survived by her husband, Claiborne Salter
of Florien, one son, Clyde Salter of Lake Charles, two brothers,
J. L. and V. L. Leach of Florien, five sisters, Mrs. Tom Wright,
Mrs. Mack Evans, Mrs. Ben Miller, Mrs. R. R. Salter and Mrs. Don
Salter, all of Florien and four grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs. Salter.
