The Sabine Index - James Fred Salter

  10 Apr 1969 - James Fred Salter, 64, of Shreveport died in
Shreveport April 1.

  Services were held in the Warren Meadows Chapel April 3 with
the Rev. Earl Marr and the Rev. J. D. Favors officiating. Burial
was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include one son Freddie Salter of
Dallas, Texas; one daughter Mrs. Freida Harris of Longview,
Texas; his mother, Mrs. R. R. Salter of Florien; three brothers
P. R. Salter of Kirbyville, Texas, Howard Salter of Florien and
J. W. Salter of Zwolle; and three grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Garland Anthony, Gene Salter, Ray
Salter, Phillip Salter, Stanley Salter and Lamar Salter.
