The Sabine Index - Mrs. Ida Slater

  13 May 1949 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Slater, 71, who
expired at Broyles clinic, Leesville, Saturday were conducted at
Toro Baptist church near Florien 2 p.m. Sunday by Rev. W. P.
Crews of Leesville. Interment was under direction Massingill
funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Eddie Slater, Leesville,
Roy Slater, Florien, Troy and Hoy Slater, Houston, Texas;
brothers, Stafford Hines, Bentley, Major Hines, Many, Jim Hines,
Monroe; sister, Mrs. Della Baxter of California and 10
grandchildren.
