Easie Elizabeth Salter

  Mrs. Easie Elizabeth Salter of Many died Monday, Oct. 20, at the
Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Salter, 78, died following an
extended illness.

  Mr. Salter is survived by her husband, Mr. Ottis D. Salter of
Zwolle; 2 sons, Mr. O. L. Salter, Jr. of Houston, Tex., and Mr.
James Q. Salter of Zwolle; 1 brother, Jay Wayne Givens of
Shreveport; 2 sisters, Gladys Lawhon, and Fannie Belle Johnston,
both of Shreveport; 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home, were held in the Zwolle United Methodist Church on Tuesday,
Oct. 21, at 3 p.m., with Bro. Raymond DeLaughter, and Bro. Ray
Fisk officiating. Burial was held in the Zwolle Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Randell H. Parrott, F. P. McCormick, Jack
Napier, J. J. Graves, Sam J. Scott, Cecil Tooke, John A. Patton,
and J. W. Salter.
