Salter of Many, were held Monday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m., at Little Flock Baptist Church, with Bro. E. E. Walker, and Bro. Louis Skinner officiating. Burial was in Little Flock Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Salter died Saturday, Dec. 8, 1984, at 3:15 p.m., at Pleasant Hill Hospital, after an extended illness. He was 91 years old. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Natalia A. Salter of Negreet; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Yvonne S. Salter of Negreet; three grandchildren, Douglas L. Salter of New Orleans, Dan H. Salter of Many, Pamela Salter Parker of Houston, Tex.; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Wedgeworth of Amarillo, Tex., Mrs. Lottie Wright of Baton Rouge; two half sisters, Jean Messaino of Austin, Tex., and Elsie McKay of Gongales; one brother, Wavely Salter of Alexandria; two half brothers, Hoyt, and Ernest Woodle, both of Alco, La.
