Mrs. Clarice Clower Salter

  Funeral services for Mrs. Clarice Clower Salter of Robeline,
were held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, at 11 a.m. Rev. Lee Roy James officiated. Burial was in
the Central Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Salter died Sunday, Feb. 3, 1985, at 11:40 p.m., at the
Cypress Fairbanks Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was 75 years
old.

  Mrs. Salter was preceded in death by her late husband, Mr.
Victor N. Salter. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Shirley
Salter King, and son-in-law, Mr. James (Sonny) King of Houston,
Texas; three grandchildren, Faith King Laney, James W. King Jr.,
and Hope King, all of Houston; and two sisters, Bessie Clower of
Robeline, and Gracie Byrd of Natchitoches.
