Mrs. Hazel Anita Slater

  Mrs. Hazel Anita Slater, 41, of Florien, passed away in Many on
Friday, July 5, 1985, at 5 p.m.

  Services for Mrs. Slater were at Warren Meadows Chapel, on
Sunday, July 7, at 2 p.m. Rev. Jeff Flenniken officiated.
Interment was in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Dwaine Calhoune, Jerry Getschel, Eddie Jones
Jr., Gary Howell, Gene Squillini, and Roy Hazen.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Robert Eugene Slater of
Florien; two sons, Michael Anthony Slater of Dallas, and Kenneth
Wayne Slater of Florien; one stepson, Frank Carl Slater of
Deloris, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra McGlothlain of
Florien, and Miss Tammy Bless Slater of Burrs Ferry, La.; one
step daughter, Linda Leona Slater of Prague, Okla.; her mother,
Mrs. Hazel Christaine Jones of Florien; one brother, Eddie Jones
of Florien; three half brothers, Paul Blasingim of Port LaVaca,
Tex., Johnny Blasingim of Houston, and Roy Blasingim of Saudi
Arabia; and eight grandchildren.
