Mr. Wilbur Lee Salter

  17 Feb 1993 - Services for Mr. Wilbur Lee Salter, 67, were held
at 2 p.m. Monday, February 15, 1993 at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. Mack Brister, and Rev. Marvin Miles.
Burial was held in Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Salter died Saturday, February 13, 1993 at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Irene Hopkins Salter of Florien,
La.; one daughter, Lynn and husband George Johnson of Fisher,
La.; one brother, J. B. Salter of Florien, La.; two
granddaughters, Michele Johnson and Melissa Johnson two
great-grandchildren, Matthew and Mallory and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were: Ronald Braud, James Bison, Bobby Salter, Jason
Holcomb, Joe Salter, and Bob Cook.

  Honorary Pallbearers: D. J. Braud, W. R. Turner, C. R. Anthony,
Herman McConathy, J. W. Law, and Ernest Bush.
