Eddie Slater

  Funeral services for Eddie Slater, 70, of Leesville, were held
at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12.

  Mr. Slater, a retired farmer of the Cooper community, died
Sunday, in his home.

  Survivors are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. John P. Nash, and
Mrs. Charles Faizell, both of Houston, Tex.; Mrs. H. B. McClellan
of Baytown, Tex., and Mrs. A. C. Hoff of Leesville; three
brothers, Troy Slater, and Hoy Slater, both of Houston, and Roy
Slater of Florien; and 11 grandchildren.
