Mrs. Ross Salter

  Mrs. Ross Salter, 80, of Florien, died Feb. 15, after an
extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include three sons, Jack Salter of Florien,
Ralph Pete Salter of Sulphur, and the Rev. Coda Salter of Tullos;
two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Corley of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ruby
Turpin of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Antioch Baptist Church, Feb. 16,
with the Revs. Glenn Marr, and J. D. Favors officiating. Burial
was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were Ross Turpin, Roy Turpin, Jackson Salter, Victor
Smith, Veral Johnson, Haskill Lowe, Curtis Hildebrand.
