Mrs. Julia E. Slater

  Funeral services for Mrs. Julia E. Slater, age 95, who died
April 13, were conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, at 10
a.m., April 15, with Rev. A. D. Asby officiating.

  Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are one son, O. A. Robertson of Florien; four
daughters, Mrs. Vernie Stewart of Florien, Mrs. Thelma Dowden of
Bossier City, Mrs. Etta Mae Williams of Shreveport; one brother,
J. E. Lilley of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Lula Jordan of Florien;
20 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; five great-great
grandchildren.
