She was a native of Jeanerette. She is survived by her husband, Malick Salim, who is well known, and has many friends in Sabine Parish. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Houston Lacaze of Natchitoches, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, with the Rev. Henry Beckers officiating. Burial was in the Memory Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard's Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Pallbearers were D. H. Whittington, Charles Solomon, Bill Dodd, Clyde Salard, Eugene Spillman, Joseph E. Rhodes.
