Tony Salim

  Tony Salim, 88, of Natchitoches, died Tuesday afternoon,
following a short illness.

  Survivors include Malick Salim of Natchitoches, who has many
friends in the Sabine Parish area.

  Funeral services for Mr. Salim were to be held Thursday, at 10
a.m., in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with the Rev.
Frank Foret officiating. Burial was to be in the Catholic
Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
of Natchitoches.

  Other survivors include two sons, Joe, and Sam Salim, both of
Natchitoches; five grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

  A rosary was recited at 7:30 Wednesday night in the funeral home
chapel.
