Helen Lee Sloane

  Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Lee Sloane, 56, of Shreveport,
were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, at Forest Park West
Cemetery. Dr. Bobby Cook of Kings Highway Christian Church, where
Mrs. Sloane was a member, officiated. Plans were under the
direction of the Boone Funeral Home's Airline Chapel.

  Mrs. Sloane died Monday, June 3, 1985, in Shreveport, after a
long illness. She was born in Miami, Oklahoma.

  She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Helen Richard of Shreveport;
one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Zachry of Shreveport; one son,
Morris Hampton "Bo" Sloane, III of Shreveport; one brother, Joe
Richard of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren; and a number
of nieces and nephews. She was formerly married to Morris Hampton
Sloane, Jr. of Converse.
