Johnie Sloan

  Funeral services were held for Mr. Johnie Sloan, Monday, June
17, 1996, at Thomas Mortuary, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Lawrence
Williams officiating. Interment was at King Chapel Cemetery in
Many.

  Mr. Sloan passed away June 11, at Angola Hospital in Angola.

  He is survived by his wife, Rose Williams, and unto this union
five children were born, Steve, Cheryl, Stanford, Johnny, and
Sandra.

  We loved you, but God loved you best.,

  He is survived by four sisters, Masiah Davis of Many, Anoia
James of Houston, Gladys Williams of Many, and Carolyn Mallard of
Marion, Indiana; five brothers, Earl Sloan, Joseph Sloan, and
Aluermon Sloan, all of Many, Melvin Sloan, and Willis Lee of
Houston; a host of nieces and nephews; and grandchildren, Anthony
Hobbs, Rocky Maxie, Johnny Lee, Jesse Mae, Aubrey, and Mary
Louise.
