Betty Sliman

  Mrs. Betty Sliman, formerly of Many, died in Springdale, Wash.,
where she was residing, following a short illness. Death claimed
Mrs. Sliman on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

  Mrs. Sliman, the wife of Negreet Sliman Sr., operated Sliman's
Carpet Center in Many, along with her husband, and Mr. And Mrs.
Jamiel Sliman of Many, from 1967 - 1973.

  She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jim Culpepper of Many,
and Joe Culpepper of Los Angeles; and a daughter, Janet Warwick
of Springdale, Washington.

  Local survivors include her brother-in-law, Jamiel Sliman; her
sister-in-law, Mrs. Johnnie Bell Davis; her mother-in-law, Margie
Sliman, and two aunts, Dorothy Lovelady, and Selma Minor, all of
Many.

  Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Sept. 11, in
Springdale, Washington.
