Abdo Jamiel Sliman, Jr.

  Abdo Jamiel (A. J.) Sliman Jr., 18, of Houston, died Tuesday,
July 18. He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, and was a
student at Katy High School. A. J. is survived by his mother,
Susan Christman of Pattison, Tex.; father Abdo Jamiel Sliman Sr.
of Houston; brothers, Samir C., Emil J. Khamal A., and Wesam J.
Sliman, all of Houston; grandparents, Zarifa Sliman of Syria, and
H. F. and Charmene Christman of Houston. Funeral services were
held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 20, at St. George Orthodox
Church, with the Rev. David Eckley officiating. Interment
followed at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. For those desiring,
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or The
Shriner's Hospital.
