Mrs. Gerthia Lee Scott Swain

  Services for Mrs. Gerthia Lee Scott Swain, 38, of Alexandria,
Virginia, were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1986, at
Pilgrim Star, Jenkins Funeral Home. Burial was in Pilgrim Star
Cemetery. Rev. James E. Charles of Dallas, Tex., officiated.

  She is survived by a husband, Mr. Joseph Swain of Alexandria,
Virginia; grandfather, Rev. Milton Charles of Florien; two sons,
LaKeith DeWayne, Lauincent Ramon of Alexandria, Va.; three
sisters, Romie J. Greene, and Frances Scott Hill of Alexandria,
Va.; and Mrs. Patricia McGaskey of Clinton, Maryland; two
brothers, Ross Calvin Scott of Dallas, Tex,; and Carle Ledale
Jones of Oxon Hill, Maryland; and numerous nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles; and a host of friends.
