Mr. Jerry Lee Swiney

  Memorial services for Mr. Jerry Lee Swiney, 30, of Florien, were
held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, at Toro Baptist Church.
Officiating was Revs. Tommy Smith, and Raymond Alford. Services
were under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home.

  Mr. Swiney passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Jan. 21,
1997.

  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Bob
Luton of Florien; and his father and stepmother, Jerry H. and
Evie Swiney of Pasadena, Texas; one brother, Billy Shavers (wife
Debra) of Many; one half brother, Lee Dale Goodson of Mt.
Pleasant, Ark.; two nieces, Nicole, and Danielle Shavers of Many;
one nephew, Billy Shavers of Many; and a host of friends.
