The Sabine Index - J. P. Simpson

  15 May 1936 - J. P. Simpson, age 88 years, passed away at his home
here last Thursday morning at seven o’clock.  He has been in ill
health for a long period.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m.
last Thursday at Antioch, Rev. H. E. Chance officiating.

  Mr. Simpson was born in Alabama, moving to Louisiana 53 years ago.
Mr. Simpson is survived by one son, H. W., of Many Route 3; four
daughters, Mrs. Hattie Chance of Florien, Mrs. Carrie Woodle of
Many, Mrs. Lula Neel and Mrs. Minnie Salter of Esto, and number
of grandchildren.
