The Sabine Index - Mrs. Mattie Simpson 
  
  22 Oct 1948 - Mrs. Mattie Simpson, age 64, passed away suddenly 
Oct. 12. Last rites were conducted by Rev. Lonnie Johnson, pastor 
Many Pentecostal church, 4 p.m. Oct. 14 at Bayou Scie Methodist 
church. Interment followed under direction Massingill funeral 
home. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: husband, W. R. Simpson, Many; 
daughters, Mrs. Zula Cox, Many, Mrs. Clara Tilton, Oakdale, Mrs. 
Minnie Finley. Conroe, Texas, Mrs. Julie Mae Cooper, Pleasant 
Hill, Mrs. Lizzie Weeks, Mansfield; sons, Carnie Tyler, 
Mansfield, John Tyler Seattle, Wash.; grandsons, Clyde Tyler, 
Clifton Tyler, David Tyler, Travis Cox, Rayburn Honeycut, Gene 
Johns, Elbert Mitchell 23 grandchildren; five 
great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Aaron, Deadwood, Texas, Town 
Aaron, Shreveport, Nimrod Aaron, Oakdale, Tom Aaron, St. Louis,
