Mamie V. Simpson

  Mrs. Mamie V. Simpson, 72, of Many, died in Many on Friday,
August 13, at 5:30 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband, G. H. Simpson of Many;
three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hinson, and Mrs. Johnnie Miller,
both of Many, and Mrs. Sybil Polk of Houston, Tex.; one brother,
Eugene Dees of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Wyatt of Belmont, and
Mrs. J. W. Simpson of Many; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Calvary Baptist Church on
Sunday, August 15, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Willis Greer officiated.

  Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Henry Savell, David Miller, Joe Henson, Tom
Miller, Troy Wedgeworth, and Shorty Muse.
