John W. Simpson

  Funeral services for John W. Simpson, 82, of Many, were held
Saturday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m., in the Calvary Baptist Church. The
Rev. David Chapman officiated. Burial followed in the Many
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Simpson died at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14, following an
extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Essie B. Simpson of Many;
three brothers, James Simpson, Horace Simpson, and G. H. Simpson,
all of Many; and five sisters, Mrs. Pinky Mitchell, and Mrs.
Laura Flenniken, both of Many, Mrs. Lurline Adams of Dry Prong,
Mrs. Beulah Mitchell of DeRidder, and Mrs. Bessie Bush of
Sulphur.
