Mary L. (Spivey) Simpson

  Services for Mrs. Mary L. (Spivey) Simpson, 39, of Shreveport,
were held Friday, at 2:30 p.m., at the Gibson Funeral Home Chapel
in Lufkin, Tex. Rev. Elaine Strong officiated. The burial was at
the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll Tex.

  She passed away Tuesday, October 19, 1982, in the Willis
Knighton Hospital.

  Mrs. Simpson, a native of Diboll, had been a resident of
Shreveport, for the past 10 years. She was employed by Western
Electric, at the time of her death.

  Survivors include one daughter, Kavon Barnes, with the U. S.
Navy in Kings Bay, Ga.; one son, Ronnie Joe Simpson of Zwolle;
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sisney of Gibson; one brother,
George W. Trigg of Orange, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Betty Sue
Vercher of Longview, Tex.; and a half brother, Gary Spivey from
Barksdale Air Force Base.
