James (Mike) Ellis Simpson

  Mr. James (Mike) Ellis Simpson, 67, passed away, Wednesday, July
19, at Highland Hospital in Shreveport.

  Surviving Mr. Simpson are his wife, Mary Agnes (Janey) Simpson
of Many; two daughters, Sandy Jackson of Many, and Ronnie
Williams of Bronson, Tex.; six sons, Michael Simpson of Haughton,
Casey Simpson of Shreveport, and Brad Simpson, Jon Simpson, Mark
Simpson, and Greg Simpson, all of Many; one brother, Horace
Simpson of Many; three sisters, Laura Flenniken, and Pinkey
Mitchell, both of Many, and Lurlend Adams of Dry Prong; several
grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Services for Mr. Simpson were held at the St. John Catholic
Church, Wednesday, July 19, at 2 p.m., with Father Kenneth
Williams officiating. Interment followed at the St. John
Cemetery.
