Interment followed in the Central Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. James Ikner officiated. Mrs. Simpson passed away at 6 p.m., Monday, May 14, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Many. She is survived by ten daughters and step daughters, Dorothy Wheeler of Pineville, Alice Parker of Bastrop, Rose Tarpley of Robeline, Connie Scott, Dorothy Hinson, and Johnnie Miller, all of Many, Donnie Wilson of Selma, California, Rena Dartez of Iowa, La., Vaughita Peters of Denham Springs, and Sybil Campbell of Houston, Texas; six step sons, George Albritton, and Elbert Albritton, both of Robeline, Johnnie Albritton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, W. H. Albritton of Brasher, Texas, O. D. Albritton of Reagan, Texas, and Otto Albritton of Natchitoches; one brother, Sammie Mitchell of Natchitoches; and a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mrs. Simpson was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 45 years. She was Director of the Many Church of the Nazarene Nursing Home Ministry for many years.
