Mrs. Viola Dillard Simpson

  Services for Mrs. Viola Mae Dillard Simpson, 88, of Mansfield,
were held Tuesday, January 25, 1994, in Rose-Neath's Mansfield
Chapel. Dr. William Crosby officiated. Interment followed at 2
p.m., in the Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston, La.

  Mrs. Simpson died Sunday, Jan. 23, in Minden. She was born in
Ft. Jesup, and was a former resident of Stonewall.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Perry Simpson.

  Survivors include a son, Glynn Simpson and his wife, Martha of
Coos Bay, Ore.; daughter, Ann Hale and husband Jud of Minden;
grandchildren, Scott Simpson of Florence, Ore., Kimber Simpson of
Guam, Judson Hale Jr. of Dallas, Tex., David Hale and wife Andrea
of Minden, and Melissa Hale Anderson of Ruston.
