Mr. Travis Lawrence Simpson

  Mr. Travis Lawrence Simpson, 48, died Friday, July 24, in
Henderson, Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 27, at
Carson Baptist Church, with interment following at Forest Hill
Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Spears officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Mary Simpson of Hallsville, Texas;
four daughters, Penny Calhoun, Melanie Humphrey, and Tammy
Simpson, all of Hallsville, Texas, and Laura Simpson of Athens,
Texas; one stepson, Allen Stiles of Marshall, Texas; one
stepdaughter, Shawn Stiles of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Peggy
Watson of Converse, Opel Remedies, and Martha Parrie, both of
Zwolle; one brother, Kenneth Simpson of Zwolle; two
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Weldon Montgomery, Lamar Simpson, James Watson,
Joey Simpson, Robert Parrie, and Allen Stiles. Honorary
pallbearer was Ronnie Simpson.
