William Riley Simpson

  Funeral services for William Riley Simpson, age 83, who died
July 5th, was conducted at Memorial Baptist Church at 2 p.m.,
July 7, with Rev. W. R. Ledford, and Rev. W. M. Greer
officiating. Interment was in Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are two sons, John Tyler of Efrater, Wash., Carnie
Tyler of Fort Wayne Ind.; daughters, Lizzie Opal Jenkins of
Deberry, Texas, Julia Mae Cooper of Pleasant Hill, Zula Cox of
Zwolle; 22 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren.
