Ina Allie Sims

  Funeral services for Ina Allie Sims, age 85, were held at 2
p.m., Thursday, September 4, 1995, at Warren Meadows Chapel, with
the Rev. Earnest Lord officiating. Interment was at Noble
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Sims died Monday, September 4, 1995, at Virginia Hall
Nursing Home in Shreveport. She was born December 18, 1909, in
Converse, La., and had made Sabine Parish her home most of her
life.

  She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, J. S.
Sims; and one son, Maurice Sims; and one daughter, Loraine
Simons.

  Survivors are one son, Sam Sims of Hornbeck; two daughters, Ruth
Crumley of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Ann Sims of Shreveport; one
sister, Myrtis Borland of Las Cruces, New Mexico; two half
sisters, Naomi Tillman of Albany, Georgia, and Matline Townsend
of Shreveport; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and nine
great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
