James Smichdt

  Funeral services were held for James Smichdt, 78, June 11, in
the First Baptist Church in Hornbeck. Burial was in the Oak Grove
Cemetery in Hornbeck.

  Survivors are his wife; one son, Shelton Lee Hewitt of Morgan
City; one daughter, Mrs. Nelda Self of Hornbeck; and seven
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
