  George Singletary - November 1, 1973

  George A. Singletary, 66, died Monday afternoon, Oct. 29, in a
Natchitoches Parish hospital following a short illness.

  Funeral services were 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Pisgah Baptist
Church. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery with Rockett - Nettles
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

  Survivors are his widow; three sons, Fred Ray Singletary of
Shreveport, Robert Willie Singletary of New Orleans and Harold
Raymond Singletary of Natchitoches; one daughter Mrs. Hazel Marie
Hicks of Coushatta; three brothers, Cliff Singletary of
Natchitoches, Harry Singletary and Walter Singletary both of
Marthaville; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Rains of Natchitoches; five
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
