  Walter Wesley Singletary - June 2, 1988

  Mr. Walter Wesley Singletary, 77, of Marthaville, died at
Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport, on May 26, 1988.

  Services were held at Old Pisgah Baptist Church on May 28 at 10
a.m. with Rev. Robert Bozeman officiating. Burial was in the Old
Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Louane Davis Singletary, of
Marthaville; one son, Tim Singletary of Marthaville; one daughter
and son-in-law, Barbara and Ronald Rains of Tioga; one sister,
Lillie Rains of Natchitoches; one sister-in-law, Gertie
Singletary of Marthaville; two grandchildren, Brenda Rains of
Tioga and Holly Richards of Shreveport; three great
grandchildren, Jonathan and Wesley Rains of Tioga and Zach
Richards of Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Singletary.

  Pallbearers included Harold Singletary, Ray Singletary, Billy
Jack Singletary, Gene Singletary, Ted Singletary, and Billy
Singletary.
