John Elmer Shoemaker

  Services for Mr. John Elmer Shoemaker, 93, of Robeline, were
held at 10 a.m., Monday, February 17, with the Rev. Foster
Jennings officiating. Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Shoemaker died Friday, Feb. 14, in Many, La.

  He is survived by step mother, Winnie Brimmer of Natchitoches;
three step sisters, Loretta Bell of Natchitoches, Ester Mae
Campbell of Belmont, and Ellen Shoemaker of Lafayette; three
brothers, Joe Shoemaker of Robeline, Julius Shoemaker of
Coushatta, and John C. Shoemaker Jr. of Coushatta; one step
brother, Hoyt Shoemaker of Hobbs, New Mexico; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
