Elven M. Smith

  Funeral services were held for Elven M. Smith, 65, of Converse,
Thursday, March 15, at 1 p.m., at the Congregational Methodist
Church of Mansfield. Burial was in the Shiloah Cemetery.

  Mr. Smith died in a fire at his home Monday, March 12.

  Survivors are his wife, Mildred R. Smith of Converse, two sons,
Freddie J. Smith, and Charles L. Smith, and one stepson, Mauris
Estes, all of Converse, one daughter, Shirley A. Moore; three
brothers, Eugene Smith of Converse, Jack Smith of Mansfield, and
Versie Smith of Houston; nine grandchildren, and one great
grandchild.
