Mrs. Smith is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Carnline, Robeline; Mrs. Pearl Williams, Natchitoches; Mrs. Maggie Durr, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Bessie Monk, Natchitoches, and Miss Eula Smith, Robeline; her brother, Oscar Woodle of Many; 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Friendship Nazarene Church on Sunday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Winston Lowe, and the Rev. C. C. Patton officiating. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Tommie Caroline, Johnnie Carnline, James Kniepp, Reese Carnline, Herman Williams, and Cecil Williams.
