Mrs. Lovie Smith

  Mrs. Lovie Smith, 70, died Wednesday, Oct. 1.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, in Kilpatricks
Funeral Home chapel in Farmerville, with the Rev. Harvey Hoffman
officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery near Marion.

  Survivors are husband, Walter Smith of Farmerville; one son, W.
Tracy Smith of Ruston; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Cooksey of
Arlington, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. C. W. English of Longview,
Tex.; and Mrs. L. A. Phelps of Zwolle; three brothers, W. N.
Brasher of W. Monroe, Mack Brasher, and Jamie Brasher, both of
Bastrop; 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
