Verbie Smith

  Verbie Graham Smith, 65, of Campti, died Wednesday, May 17, at
her home, following a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Friday, May 19, in the Creston
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Myles Walsworth officiating. Burial
was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

  Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Richard Smith Jr. of Campti,
LaVerne Hernandez of Westwego, Amy Cochran of Marthaville, and
Barbara Langlina of Bridge City, Texas; one brother, Jim Graham
of Campti; one sister, Gladys Conley of Goldonna; and 12
grandchildren.
