The Sabine Index - James C. Smith

  10 Aug 1956 - Last rites for James C. Smith, 45, of Sherman,
Texas, who died Aug. 2 was conducted at the chapel of Warren
Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4 with Rev. A. H.
Hoffpauir officiating, assisted by Rev. John Koelemay. Interment
was under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Iva Maines Smith of Sherman,
Texas; sons, John, Kenneth, Joe and Billy Wayne Smith, all of
Sherman, Texas; daughters, Helen and Becky Smith, also of
Sherman; brothers, Houton Smith of Center, Tuck Smith of Houston,
Austin Smith of Sulphur; sisters, Mrs. Jack Crocker and Mrs. Lon
Coventon, both of Center, Mrs. Lee Galloway at San Augustine,
Mrs. Webb Johnson, of Bossier City, Mrs. Dan Walling, Mrs. L
Roshto, both of Oil City; Mrs. Bruce McCauley of Oil City.
