Irma Smith

  Irma Smith, 28, of Belmont, died Sunday, April 27, in a Many
hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were at 11 a.m., Monday, April 28, in Lone Star Baptist
Church, with the Rev. McNeil officiating. Burial was in Monk
Cemetery, under direction of Jenkins Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include one son, Shun Benjamin Smith of Belmont; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez Smith of Belmont; five sisters,
Josephine Hicks of Belmont, Virginia Carroll of Los Angeles,
Betty Ann Williams, and Catherine White, both of Many, and Brenda
Pujour of Houston; three brothers, LaVerne Davis of Oakdale,
Samuel Smith of San Antonio, Texas, and Lopes Smith of Many.
