Smith Tommy Everett Smith, 45, of Robeline, died Sunday, Dec. 27, in Longview, Tex. Services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the First Baptist Church of Marthaville, with Masonic graveside rites in Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. Sammy Giddens was officiating minister, with burial under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Smith, a native of Center, Texas, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a member of Marthaville Masonic Lodge No. 453. He is survived by his widow, Joan W. Smith of Robeline; five sons, Jimmy D. Smith, John C. Smith, Joseph D. Masterson, and Dale E. Masterson, all of Robeline, and Jeffrey Todd Smith of Hood River, Oregon; four daughters, Mrs. Deborah Brown, Muskogee, Okla., LuAnn K. Masterson, and Rebecca N. Smith, both of Robeline; and Vicki Lynn Smith of Hood River, Oregon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Smith of Marthaville; one sister, Mrs. R. D. Richard of Lake Charles; and one brother, Bobby Ray Smith of Deweyville, Tex. Pallbearers were Ed Reed, Jerry Strickland, J. C. Lee, James Hernandez, Dennis Salley, and Wayne Babin.
