Clarence Hendrick Smith

  Services for Mr. Clarence Hendrick Smith, 69, of Hanna, was held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Chapel of Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home in Coushatta. The Rev. Billy Burkett officiated,
assisted by Rev. Billy Davis. Burial was in Springville Cemetery
in Coushatta.

  Mr. Smith was a member of the Ajax Lodge No. 325, Harmony
Chapter No. 6, ?, Board of Directors of the Ar?stead Gin Company,
and the Board of Directors of the Bank of Coushatta, member of
the Red River Parish Farm Bureau, and a member of the Red River
Drainage District.

  He is survived by his wife, Ruth ?Moore Smith of Hanna, Three
sons, ?Robert W. Smith, and Stanley W. Smith, all of Coushatta,
C. H. Smith, Jr., of Hanna; seven grandchildren; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
