Mrs. Margaret Smith

  Services for Mrs. Margaret Smith, 67, of Mansfield, were held at
2 p.m., Saturday, September 22, at Rocket-Nettles Funeral Home
Chapel in Coushatta, La. The Rev. Foster Jennings officiated.
Burial was at Zion Cemetery at Fairview Alpha, La.

  Mrs. Smith died Thursday, September 20, 1984, at her residence,
after a brief illness.

  She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Claudine Sewell of
Houston, Texas, Mrs. Doris Scallion of Logansport, La., and Mrs.
Linda Wilson of Marthaville, La.; two sons, Glenn Smith of
Mansfield, and Sam Smith of Meridian, Miss.; her mother, Mrs.
Emma McKay of Mansfield; one brother, Aaron Matthews of Angleton,
Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
