Antone Smith, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Antone Smith Sr. of Many, La., were
held Sunday, January 6, 1985, at the Lone Star Baptist Church,
with Rev. R. L. Smith officiating. Burial was in Wofed Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home.

  Mr. Smith died Tuesday, January 1, 1985, at his home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah Smith of Many, La.;
three sons, Mr. Antone Smith Jr., and Mr. Tony Smith of Many,
La., Mr. Roy Smith of Lake Charles, La.; three daughters, Mrs.
Theresa Cundiff, and Miss JoAnn Smith of Plain Field, New Jersey,
and Mrs. Shirley Williams of Ocean Side, California; five
brothers, Mr. Phillip Smith of Los Angeles, Calif., Mr. Isaac
Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Edward Smith of Vallejo, Calif.,
Mr. Lopezia Smith of Many, La., and Mr. Bennie Smith of Zwolle,
La.; two sisters, Mrs. Aery Lilly of Zwolle, La., and Miss Annie
Pearl Smith of Lake End, La.; one uncle, Mr. Dave McGough of
Many, La.; and three aunts; six grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.
