Lewis Leonard Smith

  Services for Mr. Lewis Leonard Smith, 74, of Many, were held at
2 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in
Castor, La. The Rev. Barry Joyner, and Rev. Sammy Giddens
officiated. Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction
of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  Mr. Smith died Tuesday, April 1, 1986, at L. S. Huckabay
Memorial Hospital in Coushatta.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Smith of Many; one
daughter, Mrs. Nora Giddens of Bossier City; one son, Kenneth
Clayton Smith of Shreveport; three brothers, Joe Smith, and Duane
Smith of Castor, William Smith of Shreveport; eight sisters, Mrs.
Ruth Byrd, Mrs. Ruby Jacobs, Mrs. Marietta Hill, Mrs. Mae Carter,
and Mrs. Grace Warren of Castor, Mrs. Bonnie Daniels of Heflin,
Mrs. Mamie Warren of Shreveport, and Mrs. Merlene Young of
Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews.
